1. Capacities are in Pounds Force (lbf). For SI: 1 inch = 25.4mm. 1lbf = 4.45N, 1 psi = 6.89 kPa.
2. The capacity is limited by the bearing area Fc = 625 psi (d. fir-larch). For Southern Pine multiply by 0.904 (565/625 psi.) For Spruce-Pine-Fir (SPF) multiply by 0.68. (425/625 psi.). For Hem-Fir (HF) multiply listed by 0.65) (405/625)
3. Bearing Plate Material conforms to ASTM A36
4. Bending calculations assume the bearing plate is supported at the ends.
5. Std Hole Size-S4-5 = 5/8", S8-16= 1", S19-S28 and L21-L32 = 1-1/4. Specify other sizes as needed.
